Intro post, mood set, fic links, and some fangirling

I've been putting off posting my first post here for about eleven months. (Wow, has it really been almost a year since I started loving this series? :3) Mainly, because I didn't want to do a "hello i liek kino lol" kind of post with no substance to it. So, I've waited and waited until I finish a few projects and stuff.

First things first, that project of mine. For the past few months, I've been working on a Kino no Tabi Livejournal mood theme. And I finally finished it today. Here's the download link, and here is a preview of them all. I hope you all enjoy it! :D

The other stuff I've been working on is a lot, a lot, of fanfics. I started and just couldn't stop! If you've been watching kino_fics, then you've probably seen some of my works. I also post them to fanfiction.net, so you can keep a watch for new ones there.

And last but not least, some fangirling. Even though I'm a pretty new fan to this series, I love it like no other series I've ever liked before. I just can't help but watch and read this series over and over again. :3

I could probably ramble on and on about Kino, but I'll cut this entry short for now. I hope to have more stuff to show off soon!

Edit: Okay, I remember reading somewhere that later on in the novel series, there is a character named Carrie, I believe. I'm trying to find the post right now, but I'm not sure where it is... I'm curious about it again because that's my real name, and I thought it was so cool that a character with my name met Kino. *is a hardcore dork* Help finding the link, please?

Edit x3: Oh, I just remembered something else I can offer! Ever wondered what the whole Song of Sadness, as in episode 3, was?

It took me a while to hear all the different lyrics, but since the sad man started it, then his daughter repeated it, what I couldn't hear at first was then said again. This is as it is according to the dubbed anime, too. There isn't much of a difference, except at the "Naked!" part, where I think the Japanese subtitles say it's something different. I'll look into that soon...
